All 60 tickets were sold but conditions prevented 6 anglers travelling to the qualifier.
Conditions were similar to the Saturday qualifier with highs of just 3C rising to little over 6C all day.
Very heavy rainfall had also fallen for the best part of a week taking the colour out of the lakes and reducing water temperatures substantially.
Winner on the day and progressing to his second Grand Final was Alex Dockerty with a brilliant 93-8-0 of carp and F1’s.
Alex drew peg 37 on Laurels and fished punched bread or corn fished on a small maggot feeder tight to the island.
Alex finished 10 lbs clear of his nearest rival.
2nd overall was Matt Burkinshaw from Laurels Peg 5.
Matt must be disappointed not to have qualified as his weight of 83-14-0 was in the same zone as the overall winner.
Matt caught all his fish on a maggot feeder with dead red hook baits.
3rd to the frame was Vic Molyneux from peg 14 on the Laurels.
Vic weight of 62-7-0 was made up of carp and F1’s all to feeder and punched bread.
4th placed Ian Ridgeway drew peg 38 on the Laurels Lake weighing in 56-9-0 to feeder and punched bread.
5th to the frame was Jamie Snedker with 55-14-0 from peg 41 on the Loco Lake.
Jamie fished a hybrid feeder with corn and waffters. His weight was enough to qualify for the Grand Final.
