Golden Rod Feeder Championship Qualifier No 16 Boddington Reservoir Saturday 5th February 2022

A full 60 peg sell out for this latest qualifier. Conditions on the day were very cold and harsh winds with highs of just 6C.
It was never going to be easy with water temperatures little more than 3-4C, along with the additional rain water over the previous week.

Winner today and braving it through to the March Final was Rob Wooton from peg 98 on the Sanctuary Bank.
Rob fished at 50-60m with the hybrid feeder and waffter hook baits weighing in 59-8-0 of carp, more than doubling his nearest rival.

Second on the day was Jon Wake from peg 100 on the Sanctuary bank.
Jon also fished at distance with the hybrid feeder and waffters landing 25-12-0 of carp and winning his zone of 20, earning him a place in the Grand Final.

Third place was tied between Rob Blackburn from peg 101 and Andy Fulleylove from peg 110.
Both anglers fished at distance with waffter hook baits, weighing in 21-8-0.

Fifth overall was Simon Bond from peg 97 who again fished at distance with waffter hook baits weighing in 16-4-0 of carp.
