Again a total 60 peg sell out for the latest qualifier. Conditions today being highs of around 10C with strong winds and mainly overcast and a heavy early morning frost.
Winner today and progressing to the March Final was Lee Jepson who drew peg 18 on the river bank.
Lee fished a hybrid feeder at around 60m with waffter hook baits landing some big carp and a few bream that scaled in at 91-8-0.
Second placed Allan Norish drew peg 15 on the River Bank and fished a hybrid feeder with waffters weighing a carp and bream catch, scaling in at 66-10-0. Allan fished long all day.
Third to the frame was Dave Burnley from peg 121. Dave fished at around 60m with hybrid feeders and various waffter hook baits to weigh in 61-4-0 of carp, F1’s and bream.
Fourth overall was Kevin Hall from peg 27 on the River Bank. Kevin fished long with waffter hook baits weighing in a level 50lbs of carp, F1’s and bream.
Fifth in the frame was Garry Boydell from peg 13 on the River Bank.
Gary fished long with the hybrid feeder weighing in 47-0-0 of carp, F1’s and bream.
