Again a complete sellout, with anglers turning up on spec hopeful of picking a ticket up on the day.
Some tickets were changing hands online for £100 or more, demonstrating just how popular this event has become.
Winner today and grabbing a final placing was Phil Canning who drew peg 1 on the Match Lake.
Phil made no mistakes casting to the bush with a hybrid feeder loaded with micro pellets and waffter hook baits, weighing in a massive 235-0-0 of carp and F1’s.
Second overall was Ray Lamb who drew peg 10 on the Match Lake and fished short and down his edge with a hybrid feeder and waffter hook baits, landing 174-0-0 of F1’s and carp.
Third placed Jason White drew peg 20 on the Match Lake and fished short and down his edges with a hybrid feeder and waffter hook baits landing 174-0-0 of F1’s and carp.
Fourth in the frame was Ian Wood from peg 11 on the Match Lake with 143-11-0.
Ian caught most of his carp and F1 catch short and down his edge with fish to around 15lb.
Fifth placed Chris Pavlou drew peg 12 on the Match Lake, weighing in 135-5-0 of carp and F1’s all caught short and down his edges.
Chris fished a method feeder loaded with micro’s and waffter hook baits.
