A complete sell out, with reserves turning out to pick up possible tickets on the day. Sadly for the reserves, most ticket holders turned up as clearly there was a great demand to fish the Larford qualifier.
Conditions were difficult, substantial rain fall had filled all the lakes to capacity and despite our best efforts, running off levels was and also remains difficult.
Winner today and progressing to the final was George Parker who drew peg 13 on the Match Lake. George fished a method feeder tight to the point of the island with waffter hook baits landing 111-9-0 of carp and F1’s.
