Golden Rod Feeder Championship Qualifier No 1 Patshull Park Saturday 28th September 2019

A full house of 60 anglers booked onto the opening qualifier for Golden Rod Feeder Qualifiers.
Conditions today at Patshull Park were favourable with a breeze and mainly over cast with highs of around 16C.

Winner today was Tony Randall (RAF Cosford) from peg 60 from the boats.
Tony fished the cage feeder with chopped worm and dead reds, fishing at around 25m to land an all skimmer catch of 26lbs 14oz.
Tony progresses to the March Grand Final at Larford Lakes.

2^nd overall was Rob Brennan (HTC) with 25lb 4oz from peg 54 on the boat pegs.
Rob also fished small cage feeder with worms and corn fished short at just 18m.

3^rd placed Brian Clark (Vespe) drew peg 47 on the hotel bank to blitz his 10 peg section and zone with 24-4-8.
Fishing at 20 & 35m on the cage feeder and fishing dead reds and pinkie hook baits, Brian went on to land a skimmer and roach catch.

4^th to the frame was Gareth Lambert (Sonu-Baits) from peg 14 on the shallows.
Fishing at 30m with a cage feeder, Gareth landed 22lb 3oz of skimmers and roach all caught on worm and corn.

5^th placed Simon Harris (Oakengates) weighed in 20lb 3oz from peg 13 in the shallows.
Simon chose to fish the method feeder with corn hook baits and the cage feeder with worms.
