Again a full turn out of 60 anglers fishing this latest feeder qualifier.
Conditions on the day were a very cool 5C, with a fairly stiff breeze.
Also, considerable rain fall for over a week, rising levels and further reducing the lake temperature.
Winner today and progressing to the Grand Final was England International, Steve Ringer who drew peg 123 on the road side.
Steve fished long on the hybrid feeder with waffters to weigh in 118-14-0 of carp and bream comfortably winning the zone and the match overall.
Second on the day was George Parker who drew peg 16 on the River Bank.
George fished long with the hybrid feeder loaded with micro pellets and various waffter hook baits weighing in 93-11-0 of carp and bream.
George also won the zone and progressing to the Final.
Third placed Mitch Huskisson drew fancied peg 124 and fished long with the hybrid feeder fishing waffter and pellet hook baits, weighing in 59-12-0 of small carp and bream.
Fourth to frame was Richard Toomer from peg 82 on the Road Side.
Richard fished a hybrid feeder with waffters, catching carp and F1’s to weigh in 49-4-0 and a qualification placing for the Grand Final.
Fifth placed Dave Berry came very close to a final placing with 45-12-0 of carp and F1’s from peg 61 on the River Bank.
Dave fished the hybrid feeder & waffters.
