Possibly due to foggy conditions on route and temperatures of minus 2C increasing to just 4c during the day.
Winner today was Hayfields Graeme Wall who drew peg 13 on the Elm Lake.
Graeme fished the method with expander pellet hook bait landing carp and F1’s for a winning weight of 72-6-0 and a coveted place in the March Grand Final.
Second overall was Stuart Fotheringham (Spotted Fin) drawing peg 13 on Cedar.
Stuart fished both the banjo and method feeder loaded with micro pellet and fishing various waffter hook baits.
Stu was very unlucky not to qualify for the final weighing in an impressive 69-7-0.
Third on the day was Tommy Pickering (Maver) with 65-7-0 of carp and F1’s from peg 10 on cedar.
Tommy fished a maggot feeder short and later found four more carp to the banjo feeder long.
Fourth to the frame was Shannon Swallow (Guru) from peg 19 on Elm.
Shannon fished a very tidy match fishing a maggot feeder on the pole line landing a fine bag of carp and F1’s to weigh in 59-4-0.
Fifth overall was Allen Harrison from peg 15 on the Elm Lake.
Allen fished tight across with the method feeder loaded with micro pellet. Fishing various waffter hook baits, Allen weighed in 58-15-0 of carp and F1’s.
