Golden Rod Feeder Championship Qualifier No 21, Lindholme Lakes, Saturday 11th March 2023

Today’s sell out qualifier at Lindholme Lakes turned out to be a tough match with temperatures only reaching 6°C.
On the main, conditions were reasonable. A little bit of cat ice at the beginning of the match with a very cool breeze, but free from rain and snow showers.

Winner today and progressing to the final was Vic Molyneux, who drew peg 35 on Loco.
Vic fished a method feeder long with waffter hook baits, weighing in 46-15-0 of carp and F1’s.

2^nd overall was Michael Owen from peg 67 on Bonsai.
Michael fished a hybrid feeder with waffters weighing in 41-15-0 of carp and F1’s and qualifiers for the March Grand Final.

3^rd to frame was Nick Morris from peg 74 on Bonsai.
Nick fished an open ender with maggot hook baits, landing 41-5-0 of silvers and small F1’s.

4^th Placed David Kelly drew peg 70 on Bonsai, catching on both feeder and hybrid feeder, weighing in 36-5-0 of F1’s and silvers.

5^th overall was Steve Jackson from peg 39 on Benny’s.
Steve fished the hybrid feeder and waffter hook baits, bagging 35-9-0 and a place in the Grand Final.
