Golden Rod Feeder Championship Qualifier No 6, Meadowlands Fishery, Saturday 25th November 2023.

Conditions for this latest qualifier were pretty grim, with a heavy overnight frost and highs reaching no higher than 5C throughout the day.

The winner today and straight through to the final was Dave Grogan from peg 36 on Warren Lake.
Dave fished a hybrid feeder with various waffter hook baits weighing in 69-14-0 of carp and bream.

Second overall and through to the final was Phil Canning from peg 27 and Lambsdown.
Phil caught on the hybrid feeder and waffter, netting carp and bream that weighed in at 54-7-0.

Third placed Max Higgot was again unlucky not to make the final, weighing in 48-6-0 from peg 15 on Warren Lake.
Max fished the hybrid feeder and waffters.

Fourth to frame was Matt Heyes from peg 47 on Lambsdown.
Matt fished the hybrid feeder and waffters, netting 46-14-0 and a place in the Grand Final.

Fifth placed James Power drew peg 21 on Lambsdown weighing in 29-12-0 of carp and bream.
James fished the hybrid feeder and waffters producing the few bites he had.
