Conditions for this qualifier were good with bright skies, highs of around 12°C and a gentle breeze.
Winner today and progressing to the final was Amon Brennan who drew match lake peg 20.
Amon caught most of his carp F1’s short and down his edges with the method feeder and waffter hook baits weighing in 159-3-0.
Second on the day was welsh rod Garreth Swaine who drew peg 6 on the Specimen Burr, weighing in 100-12-0.
Garreth weighed in some specimen carp to 22lbs plus a few bream all caught on the hybrid feeder fished long plus a couple of lumps down his edge late.
Gareth finished waffter hook baits and qualifies for the March final.
Third placed Jason Crump drew peg 13 on the Match Lake and fished the hybrid feeder long and down his edges, weighing in 89-10-0 to waffter hook baits.
Fourth in the frame was Jason Davies from Match peg 10.
Jason cast to the island with the hybrid feeder and waffters catching carp and F1’s, weighing in 86-0-0.
Fifth placed Rabu Barbu drew peg 11 on the Match Lake weighing in 85-1-0 all to the method feeder and waffter hook baits.
