47 anglers were booked on for this latest qualifier. Disappointing numbers will mean Tamar will not host another qualifier for the 2020/21 campaign.
Disappointing to say the least, but if venues are not supported changes have to be made.
Winner today and progressing to the March final was Chis Parr (Sensas 88) who drew peg 31 Devon.
Chris fished a small cage feeder with ground bait and maggot hook baits landing 100 small roach to weigh in 12lbs.
Second overall was Andy Power (Preston) who also drew the same zone as the overall winner.
Andy fished from peg 29 Devon landing 10lbs to the conventional feeder with ground bait and maggots hook bait netting 80 or more small roach.
Third to the frame was Dave Walton (Tackle Trader) from peg 41 Devon with 9-10-0 of small roach and perch.
Dave also fished a small feeder loaded with ground bait and maggot winning his zone and progressing to the Grand Final.
Joint 4th overall was Scott Russell (Tackle UK) and Michael Buchwalder (Preston) with 8-5-0.
