Golden Rod Feeder Championship Qualifier No2, Decoy Lakes, Saturday 1st October 2022

A sell out 60 pegs fished at the brilliant Decoy Lakes complex.
Conditions today were sunny with highs of 18C and a stiff breeze.

Winner today and making his way to the March Grand Final was Jason Cawthorne with a brilliant weight of 185-3-0.
Jason drew peg 15 on the Beastie Lake and fished the method feeder with micro pellets and various waffter hook baits.
Jason caught long and down his edges.

Second overall and also progressing to the Grand Final was Dave Smith who drew peg 20 on the Oak Lake.
Dave fished the hybrid feeder loaded with micro pellets with waffter and pellet hook baits, landing 167-6-0

Third to the frame and progressing to the March final was previous Golden Rod Champion Prezmek Solski.
Prezmek drew peg 3 on Ceder and fished the method tight across with waffters, landing 162-0-0.

Fourth placed Vic Molyneux was unlucky not to qualify, landing 148-13-0 from peg 22 on Elm.
Vic fished the method and waffters tight across and down his edges.

Fifth overall was Dave Wood who drew peg 7 on Cedar.
Dave caught on the method and waffters, fishing a method feeder and various waffter hook baits.
