A full sell out today of 60 pegs on both the Match & Specimen Lakes. Conditions were cool with 12C and a strong breeze with cloud cover.
Winner overall today was Paul Cook who drew peg 23 on the Specimen Chalet Bank.
Paul fished a method short and down his edges with various waffter hook baits landing 129-14-0 of quality carp to 20lbs and booking his place in the March Grand Final.
Second placed Mick Bull drew well pulling out end peg 40 on the Match Lake.
Mick also fished a Method Feeder loader with micro’s and various waffter hook baits recording an all carp and F1 catch weighing in 121-14-0 and booking his Grand Final placing.
Mick fished short and down his edges.
Third on the day was Andy Crocker from peg 26 on the Match Lake.
Andy fished a method feeder loaded with micro pellet. Bait were various waffters and dead reds down his edges and short.
Andy finished the day with 111-14-0 comfortably winning his zone to earn a Grand Final placing.
Fourth to the frame was Prezmek Solski from peg 20 on the Specimen Lake.
Prezmek fished long on the method feeder with his own waffter hook baits catching quality bream and carp to weigh in 106-4-0.
Fifth place Phil canning drew peg 9 on the Specimen Burr weighing in 88-0-0 of carp to 20lbs on the method and waffter fished down his edges.
