Today’s qualifier at Hallcroft presented another total 60 peg sellout.
Conditions were not to bad, with highs of around 6C but full of cold water. Fishing however was not bad with some fine feeder weights recorded.
Winner today was Jason Cawthorne who drew peg 102 on the Moat Lake.
Jason fished the hybrid feeder with various waffter hook baits landing a superb bag of carp that scaled in at 132-5-0.
Jason has been a runner up on his zone a least 3 times, so deserves his place in the final.
Second overall was Andy Lakey from Moat Lake, peg 11 with a big 127-6-0 of prime carp, all caught to the method and waffter hook baits.
Andy progresses to the March Final.
Third placed George Robinson weighed in 111-5-0 from peg 6 on the Bridge Lake and automatically qualifies for the March Final.
George fished the hybrid feeder and waffters at distance.
Fourth on the day was Rob Burgin from peg 55 from Bridge outer.
Rob weighed in 95-15-0 of carp all caught on the hybrid feeder and waffters.

My apologies for missing this all important qualifiers as I had some health issues, and had some hospital treatment so if my report is not correct, let me know and I will rectify it.
My sincere thanks to Lee and Will who ran the event in my absence.
Both did a remarkable Job.
