A complete sell out with all 60 anglers attending this popular venue.
Conditions today were good with highs of around 12C and a gentle breeze blowing into the river bank pegs.
For most of the day, everyone enjoyed sunshine with no signs of any rain for a change.
Needless to say, the fishing was good on both banks with carp and skimmers feeding well.
Winner today from peg 48 was Barry Bird (Spotted Fin / Dotem Down) who weighed in an impressive 110-2-0.
Barry caught on the method at around 50m with various waffter hook baits.
Second on the day was Martin Eddis from peg 46. Martin was into fish early, fishing the method feeder between 50 & 60m with waffter hookbaits.
Martin missed out on a qualification placing by just 8oz, weighing in 109-6-0.
Third overall was Pete Jupp from peg 100.
Pete fished the method at 50m with waffters, landing carp and bream to record 89-7-0 at the scales.
Fourth to make the frame was Chris Hill (Sensas) from fancied peg 124.
Chris fished at 70m with the method feeder and waffter to weigh in 68-8-0.
Fifth placed Nathan Gooderham (Bait Tec) drew peg 15 landing carp and F1’s recording a weight of 67-4-0 all to the method fished at 60m with waffter hook baits.
