Golden Rod Feeder Championship Qualifier, No 9 Boddington Reservoir, Saturday 16th December 2023

60 tickets sold with an unbelievable 11 no shows.

The winner today and progressing to the final was Zac Williams from peg 5 on the Dam.
Zac fished at distance with the hybrid feeder and waffters, landing some excellent carp that scaled in at 95-14-0.

Second on the day was Reece Clewlow from peg 3 on the Dam, weighing in 76-2-0.
Again the method was a hybrid feeder long with various waffter hook baits.

Third to frame was Alex Walker with 73-6-0 from peg 6 on the Dam.
Alex fished long with the hybrid feeder and waffter.

Fourth overall was Steve Ringer from peg 97 in the Sanctury.
Steve fished long with waffters weighing in 49-10-0, winning his zone and progressing to another Golden Rod Grand Final.
Steve has now qualified for all the finals of the Golden Rod to date, that’s some record.
