A full 60 turnout fished on the Bridge & Moat Outer lakes. Conditions on the day were mainly overcast with quite a strong breeze and highs of around 7C.
All the lakes were well above normal levels, with most of the stages still underwater.
Despite the conditions, Hallcroft still produced excellent winter weights.
Winner today, and though to the final was Dale Haywood from peg 11 on Moat Outer.
Dale caught on the hybrid feeder and waffters, landing a superb 166-12-0, almost doubling his nearest rival.
Second place Andy Kinder was in fine form, launching a method feeder with waffter hook baits to the point of the island on peg 36 Bridge Outer.
Andy landed some big carp and a few decent skimmers to weigh in 88-10-0 and claim a place in the March final.
Third on the day was Mitchell Huskisson from peg 51 on the Bridge Outer.
Mitch fished the hybrid feeder and waffters, landing a very respectable 77-5-0 of quality carp.
Fourth to frame was Eric Lofts from peg 11 on Moat outer.
Eric weighed in 63-14-0 of carp and skimmers all caught on the hybrid feeder and waffters.
Fifth placed Steve Kurtis drew peg 51 on Moat Outer, winning his zone of 20 with 88-10-0, all to the hybrid feeder and waffters, rewarded with a Grand Final placing.
