Golden Rod Feeder Championship Qualifier No2 Moorlands Farm, Saturday 9th October 2021

A near sell out of 54 anglers at todays qualifier. An impressive Moorlands farm hosting the second qualifier in the series.
I have to say that the work Grant & Nicola have done to the venue is very impressive and the facilities are first class.
Temperatures today being a pleasant 18C with just a gentle breeze and warm sunshine.

Winner today was Ian Smith (Moorlands) who drew peg 8 on the Bank Pool landing 109-7-0.
Ian’s catch of carp and F1’s all came to method loaded with micro’s with both pellet and wafter hook baits.

Second on the day was Darren Cox (Garbolino) from peg 12 on the Bank Pool.
Darren fished method down his edges with meat hook baits recording a carp and F1 catch that weighed in at 102-10-0.

Third to the frame was Martin Harrell from peg 16 on the Moors Pool.
Martin fished the method loaded with micro pellets and various wafter hook baits fished tight across. Martin weighed in 100-11-0.

Fourth overall was Ryan Wilson from peg 5 on the Meadows Pool.
Ryan fished tight down his edges with a method feeder with 6mm hook pellets weighing in 98-3-0

Fifth placed was Andy Fry drew peg 3 on the Silver Pool and fished the method at 6 meters with ground bait and maggot landing carp and F1’s to weigh in 93-3-0.
