Golden Rod Qualifier No19, Marston Fields Fishery, Saturday 2nd March 2024.

A full 60 peg sell-out at Marston Fields, conditions were not favourable with heavy winds, a high of just 7C.

The winner today and progressing to the final was David Starkey from peg 16 off Oak Lake.
David netted 65-4-0 of carp all caught on a hybrid feeder and waffters finishing well clear of the field.

Second, on the day was Alan Norish who drew peg 8 on Oak Lake.
Alan landed 28-13-0 all caught on the hybrid feeder and waffters.

Third to frame was Daz Wilkinson from peg 24 on Sycamore.
His catch weighing in at 28-1-0 was enough to win his zone and put him through to the Grand Final.
Daz fished the hybrid feeder and wafer hook baits.

Fourth overall was fishery owner, Dale Jackson, who was unlucky not to qualify, weighing in 26-4-0 from peg 8 on Sycamore finishing the day just 2lbs behind the zone winner.

Fifth on the day was Jim Eastham from peg 11 on the Willow Lake with 21-1-0.
