Golden Rod Feeder Championships Carr Mill Qualifier No 8 Sunday 1st December 2019

A total of 45 anglers were booked on for this Sunday qualifier. Conditions today were bright but a number of severe overnight frosts, and earlier mid-week heavy rain slowed down the form of the reservoir considerably.

Winner today was Matt Bretherton (Copper Anglers) with 9-10-0 of roach and skimmers.
Matt drew peg 115 and fished a cage feeder with maggot and pinkies clinching a coveted grand final placing.

Second overall was Jamie Harrison (Matrix) who drew peg 4, fishing a cage feeder at distance with maggot hook baits, Jamie went on to weigh a level 6-0-0.

Third to the frame was Lee Addy (Drennan NW) from peg 21. Again, feeder was the method with dark ground bait and maggot hook bait.
Lee weighed in 4-14-00 of small roach and skimmers.

Fourth placed Kevin Hall drew peg 160. Fishing at distance with the cage feeder and maggot, Kev weighed in 4-9-0 of small roach and skimmers.

Fifth overall was Graham Lewis (Gopies Baits) from peg 69, fishing cage feeder and maggot hook bait.
Graham produced a catch of small roach and skimmers from a very difficult section and zone and 4-1-0 was enough to clinch a final placing.
