Golden Rod Feeder Championship Qualifier No 8, Meadowlands, Sunday 13th December 2020

A full house for this latest qualifier with 60 tickets sold. Conditions on the day were awful with substantial cold rain, heavy north winds, and highs of just 3C, rising to little more than 6C.

Winner on the day with a superb bag of carp was Charlie Simpson from peg 26 on Lambsdown.
Charlie fished orange waffters on a hybrid feeder loaded with micro pellet at distance booking his fourth Grand Final placing.

Second overall was Simon Fry (Garbolino) from peg 26 on Lambsdown.
Simon also fished the method feeder with various waffter hook baits landing a carp catch of 97-14-0.

Third placed Nick Roberts drew peg 25 on Lambsdown fishing pink waffter on the method, recording a weight of 86-12-0.

Fourth to the frame was Martin Tayloe (HT Angling) from peg 23 on Lambsdown.
Martin fished the method long with pink waffters recording an overall weight of 8-0-0.

Fifth placed Stuart Fotheringham qualifies for the two day March Final with 77-8-0 all to  the method feeder.
Stuart drew peg 48 on Lambsdown fishing yellow waffters to weigh in an all carp catch.
