A full 60 turnout for this latest qualifier. Conditions on the day, highs of around 8C, clear sky and a gentle breeze.
Water temperature however was still low and little more than 4C.
Winner today and progressing to the March Final was defending champion, Nick Speed who drew peg 42 on bridge outer.
Nick fished a very tidy match, casting to the far bank stage with a hybrid feeder and waffter, landing some quality carp and a few bream to weigh in 94-13-0 for a comfortable victory.
Second overall was Mark Wright from peg 6 on Bridge Outer. Mark fished the hybrid feeder long with waffters, catching carp and bream to weigh in 80-5-0.
Unfortunately, Mark was in the same zone as the overall winner, so unlucky not to qualify for the final.
Third to frame was Dale Haywood from peg 111 on Moat Outer.
Dale fished the hybrid feeder with waffters, landing carp and bream weighing in 72-6-0 and a grand final placing.
Fourth overall was Barry Armson from peg 49 on Bridge outer.
Barry weighed in 53-3-0 all to the hybrid feeder and wafter hook baits.
Fifth placed Jason White drew peg 44 on Bridge Outer weighing in 47-2-0 all to the hybrid feeder fished long with waffter hook baits.
