Golden Rod Championship Qualifier No17, Hallcroft Fishery, Saturday 17th February 2024

A full 60 peg sellout fished on Moat and Bridge Outer Lakes. Levels were still high and topped up with heavy overnight rain.

Winner today overall was Marc Rodger who drew peg 53 on Moat.
Marc fished the hybrid feeder and waffter cast tight to the tip of the island. Marc weighed in around 8 carp to scale in at 66lbs.

Second on the day was Max Higgott from peg 102 on the Moat with 65-2-0 of carp and caught tight across on the hybrid feeder and waffters.
Max also won his zone of 20 and progressed to the final

Third placed Dave Berry had been close to a final placing on a number of qualifiers this year and was today rewarded with a Grand Final placing.
Dave fished the hybrid feeder and waffters on peg 36 on the Bridge Outer Lake weighing in 58-1-0.

Fourth to frame was Lewis Mifsud from peg 23 on the Moat with 52-13-0 all caught on the hybrid feeder and waffters, casting tight across.

Fifth placed Lee Holtham drew peg 14 on Bridge, weighing in 44-4-0.
